Untouchable Breath

Untouchable breath so hallowed sunk
Into indefinite pouches, my spirit’s trunk
Withered in lifetime baring ends
To destinations that light could not lend
Knowledge of

Far off inside another heart’s cave
Is a man of age feasting on the concave
Bow of a shaman’s cane raised
With jingles lost in prophecy, praised
For wisdom

How do acumens: Spirit’s House:
Constitute the skin that I propose in doubt?
How do my ravens fly with cherub’s arc
Sustaining the fervent gate I now embark
Upon in dark?

I lose my way in the perpetual path:
Stairway to creation: in transitional baths
Of water colored fantasies pouring out velvet oil
Between the earth and sky, I rest on unseen soil
Still amused

Still laughing in a champagne boast
Drunk on immortality, proposing toasts
To all the givers of this confounded quest
Expose your weaponry, your celestial nests
I drink to You

Here’s to You for keeping mystery alive
For letting death be a veil for our human eyes
Here’s to the quiet calls of nature’s voice
And you embodied in their sweet rejoice
I drink to You

Here’s to You for keeping so still
A softness found in colour & silent until
It births the gift of music & summons ancient dance
& still with all this insight I sit on steps entranced
Still learning…
