Contemplating an Encounter
Or the colour I noticed first
In the message I was given fortifying our love.
Aphrodite appeared on the rose petal crest
Of the wildest wave my chest has suffered
& unfastened the curtains of my soul…
A mirror’s imperfection
For it playfully was hiding the truth:
My figure & expression thawed away
& there was the sublime image of you…
A single tear born to life
There upon my cheek to die in fame;
My eyes disbelieving it was the extension
Of my celestial soul,,,
For when & how did the sky expose
It’s enigma to me:
Out of the blue quite literally, you,
Flew out the rapture I knew
Only to be a dreamland where my mind's eye
Is tempted to loose all scope of reality;
& do not be concerned
Of my take on farsighted affairs,,,
It was you who taught me all I know, long ago,
When we were sliding down icicles
Upon some isolated star& inside your kiss
(I remember this…)
You old me of ventures that eluded all freedoms:
Embodying love (it was our gift) &
That forever we’d live to see it spread far…& touch existence!
Now we stand, figuratively, upon a cloud,
Excited that the time is now.
