Blackdove
She never explained.
Ethereal displacement, fortunate,
In the stratums of a dual-essence belonging to
That sadness we made disappear:
Exodus, rewritten and renowned,
By the characters of your hand’s inspired eye;
On those dying cathedral steps,
We carved this planet’s bleak infertility
Into the grottos of a distant chaos
& drifted away into love.
Came along creatures of the unexplained,
Stringing parallels of a winded bay.
You tossed away that magical blue dress,
Entered me with a new address…
O how the theories, once wedged
Between the thighs of our mind, exploded
Into fierce perceptions
Of a special universe we can call
That word: I think that key:
For I’ve never seen so many fascinating doors
Proud to be irrevocably, open.
